Died - David Stonecypher of this city, yesterday about 1 o'clock P. M., we are sorry to record, met with a most melancholy accident. Immediately after dinner, it appears, he started for the country with his team, for a load of some kind, and when passing down street, in the neighborhood of the steam sawmill, in the south part of town, his horses became unmanageable and in running, he was either thrown, or jumped, from the wagon, from which he sustained such injuries as to result in death within seven hours thereafter. He died at 8 1/2 o'clock in the evening The deceased was entirely unconscious from the time of the accident until the hour of his demise. Mr. S. was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of the place, and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his (as it were, untimely,) departure hence.— Thus one after another, pass away, those of our earliest recollection. The funeral will take place from the family residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock. - thanks Kim H
